" All my houses copy(?) hold lands and lease lands to my son John Massingham after the decease of me and my wife, to pay upon the entry within 1 year after unto Robert Massingham my son £10.
" To William Massingham my son £10 to be paid 12 months after the former payment.
" To Dorothy my daughter £10 to be paid as aforesaid.
" To Francis my son £10 to be paid as aforesaid.
" To John Youngs my grandchild and Agnes Youngs £10 to be paid £5 apiece by equal portions as aforesaid.
" For the payment of these legacies, I tie (?) my houses and all my copy(?)hold lands if he refuse to pay the said legacies or any of them then my son Robert shall enter the land and pay the legacies, and if Robert refuse or die in the meantime then my son William shall enter the lands and pay the legacies.

I, Thomas Massingham of Langham, Norfolk, ploughwright ...

I give and bequeath to William Massingham (Massinghame) my son and to his heirs, my tenemnt called Bette (?) Barnewith the curtelage thereto blonging and as of late purchased from Robert Borrie of Langham. My will and intent is that the said William my son shall enter enjoy and possess the said tenement and appurtenances when he comes to the age of 24 (xxiijjtie) years and not before.
I give and bequeath to John Massingham my son and his heirs my tenement wherein I now dwell with the yard thereto adjoining and all the residence (?) of land as well --esi-de- as lease (?) land set lying and being in the town and filde (fields?) of Langham. I give and bequeath to the said John Massingham one table with a frame thereto belonging. My will and intent is that the said John my son shall enter enjoy and possess the said tenement and lands and other premises before to him given after my wife's decease and not before.
I will and my mind is that if it happen that John my son departs this life before he comes to enter the premises then I will the said tenement and land bfore given to John my son remain to William my son and his heirs.
I give unto Elizabeth Massingham my daughter five marks of lawful English money to be paid to her or her assigns by John my son or William my son if it shall happen my son John do depart this transitory life in manner and form above specified within one year next after the entering the premises and if the said John my son be then living as aforesaid, or William my son if he survive, refuse to pay the said five marks as is aforesaid that then I give the said tenement and land to Elizabeth my daughter and her heirs, she to enter the same at such time as John or William should have done if either of them had paid the money at the time herein specified.
I give and bequeath to Robert my son forty shillings of lawful English money to be paid to him at his age of four and twenty years.
