Removal order (microfilm MF/X/280/9 in Norfolk Record Office) made by the Justices of the Peace on complaint of the churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the parish of Watton (dated 16 September 1820):
Hustler Massingham (sic), singlewoman, who is now with child hath come to inhabit in the said parish of Watton not having gained a legal settlement there nor produced any certificate owning her to be settled elsewhere ... and that the said Hustler Massingham on accout of her pregnancy adjudged by us now actually chargeable to the said parish of Watton ...
The JPs judge that her legal settlement is in Stow Bedon in the said county, charge the Watton parish officers to convey Hustler Massingham to Stow Bedon and charge the Stow Bedon parish officers to provide for her as a settled inhabitant of that parish.

" To Martha, my beloved wife, all and singular my dwelling houses, outhouses, yards and lands with all their appurtenances situate lying and being in Langham or Morston or elsewhere during the term of her natural life.
" Immediately after the decease of Martha my wife (all of the above) ... to William Massingham my son and his issue (?) for ever.
" To John Massingham my son, the sum of £5 out of my houses and lands above mentioned to be paid by William my aforesaid son within 1 year after the decease of Martha my wife.
" If Martha shall depart this life at any time during the minority of John Massingham my son (note that John was born in 1712, the Will written in 1722, so this tallies), then William shall pay the aforesaid £5 to John Massingham my son when he shall attain to the age of 21.
" To Martha my wife for her better convenience shall have the use and --- profits of all and singluar my goods, chattels, ... during the term of her natural life.
" After the deceaseof Martha my wife, my executors shall divide and deliver (?) all and singular my ... goods, chattels, household stuff "without doors and within" to my 3 daughters:
